Careers

Pour your heart into it

We're a small crew that takes coffee seriously and ourselves much less so. If you like early mornings, good banter and genuinely learning a craft, read on.

Why here

The deal, upfront

Paid coffee education

Cupping every week, SCA courses funded after six months, roastery time if you want it.

Beans on the house

A 250g bag every week, plus mates' rates for your household's serious habit.

No split shifts

We close at 4. Your evenings are yours, penalty rates are real, and Sundays are properly paid.

A crew, not a roster

Four years average tenure says more than anything we could write here.

Who we're looking for

Barista

Full-time

You can pour consistently under a Saturday rush and still make the fourth regular of the morning feel like the first. Two years’ specialty experience ideal — attitude beats résumé.

— Tues–Sat, 6am starts

— Level 3 barista award + super

— Latte art comp entries funded

Weekend All-rounder

Part-time

Front of house, register, pastry case, dog-greeting duties. Perfect alongside study — we’ll work around your exam block, promise.

— Sat–Sun, 7am–3:30pm

— Casual loading, every weekend

— Full coffee training included

Junior Roaster

Expression of interest

Learn production roasting on Bertha with Harriet. No roasting experience needed — palate, curiosity and reliability are the whole job description at this stage.

— One roast day/week to start

— Grows with the roastery

— Green coffee buying trips, eventually
